Executive Director

Chris covered the 1988 democracy uprising for the BBC in what was then Burma. After a 23 year career at the BBC, he joined the United Nations as Director of Strategic Communications and Advocacy in the Middle East. In 2019 he left the UN and returned to London. He founded MAP in 2021.

Emmie is a graduate from Richmond the American University in London. With an unwavering passion for International Relations, she delved deep into the intricacies of Southeast Asian policies and conflicts during her academic pursuits. Passionate about human rights, she strongly believes in making a positive impact, and strives to contribute to a more inclusive and empathetic society. Furthermore, she is interested in leveraging innovation to bridge gaps and foster a connected global community.

Tatyana Eatwell

Tatyana Eatwell

Legal Advisor

Tatyana is a barrister at Doughy Street Chambers in London. She advises States, individuals, international and non-governmental organisations on a wide range of public international law and international human rights law issues. Her cases include matters concerning arbitrary detention, extra-judicial killing, war crimes and terrorism, sanctions, self-determination, and State responsibility. She has acted in high-profile criminal appeals before the UK Supreme Court that concern the interpretation of international law on, for example, war crimes, terrorism, and torture, and the application of international law in domestic proceedings.

Rishi Pelham

Rishi Pelham

Videographer

Rishi is a theatre and film director, writer, producer, musician and cinematographer. Graduated in Literature from Lycée Français de Jérusalem (2012) and drama and screen studies from University of Manchester (2016). He has dedicated the past three years to his first feature-film, «Hilda», the opening feature of a character-driven trilogy highlighting the struggles of isolation and societal pressure.

Nicholas is a 3rd Year Law student at the university of Middlesex, studying LLB Law with Human Rights as his specialisation. He joined MAP as an intern to further his understanding on international human rights.
